This 16-day Kailash Mansarovar Yatra itinerary begins in Kathmandu, where you will explore iconic religious sites like Boudhanath, Pashupatinath, and Guheswari Temple while applying for the China Group Visa. A jungle and village hike to Tarkeswar Mahadev Temple provides an early taste of adventure. The journey proceeds with a scenic drive to Syabrubesi, followed by the Tibetan border crossing into Kyirong, gradually acclimatizing as you ascend to higher altitudes.

Driving through the stunning landscapes of Tibet, you reach Saga and eventually Mansarovar Lake, where pilgrims perform a ritual puja. From Mansarovar, you travel to Darchen, the base camp for the Kailash Parikrama. The 3-day Parikrama trek begins from Darchen, covering approximately 45 km and reaching heights of 5,600 meters at Dolma La Pass, the highest and most challenging point of the trek. This spiritual journey offers breathtaking views and a profound sense of accomplishment.

A key highlight of the itinerary is the Inner Kora on Day 13, where pilgrims undertake a sacred and challenging hike to Ashtapad and Nandi Parvat, allowing a closer view of Mount Kailash. This is considered a special part of the journey, offering deep spiritual significance.

The return route includes driving back from Darchen through Saga and Kyirong before crossing back into Nepal, culminating with a drive back to Kathmandu. The combination of cultural sightseeing, spiritual experiences, and breathtaking landscapes makes this an unforgettable pilgrimage journey.
